Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) going to conduct the CTET exam after 1 year. CBSE conducts an examination every 6 months but due to corona in India, CBSE had postponed exam for the Dec/January. The notification has come now and the exam will be held between 16th December to 13th January in different shifts and different days. The Government of India has decided to conduct the CTET exam completely online this year.

CTET 2021 Syllabus and Exam Pattern

There are no big changes in the syllabus but yes pattern has changed for the 2021 CTET exam and in this year Application Based Questions can be asked. Now the exam will be held on completely online which is itself challenging. Earlier the CTET exams were held offline but this year scenario has been changed now. This is a big change itself. If the syllabus will change completely then it will be very difficult to handle this but only small changes have been made in the syllabus. Now the exam will be held on CBT mode. The CBT refers to Computer Based Test which is officially announced on CTET Website (https://ctet.nic.in). This is the 15th edition of the CTET exam and will be held in 20 languages in different shifts for paper 1 and paper 2. The exam time will be 2:30 hrs as it was earlier for the 150 questions. There will be no negative marks, each question will have 1 number so the total marks will be 150 for the 150 questions. There is no age limitation. You can participate in this exam whatever your age.

Fee Structure for CTET Exam ( General, OBC, SC/ST Category)

The fees for the General and OBC candidates are INR 1000 and INR 500 for SC/ST/Differently Abled Person. The CBSE has decided to start the application from 20th Sept which is already started and the last date of application is 19th October and you can submit your fees by 20th October 2021.

To Apply for CTET December 2021, Please go through the official website of the CTET (https://ctet.nic.in) and you will see there a button which is on the bottom of the page. Click on that button. On the other side again you will see New Registration button click on that. You will see their Instructions and Procedure for online submission of the Application Form. Read carefully these instructions before submitting the form.

Now simply go on the Click on Proceed button and fill the details accordingly. Take a printout of the computer-generated Confirmation Page with the Registration Number after successful submission of data. So please follow the below step to apply online.

CBSE has tie-up with TCS company to provide mock tests online for the students. This Mock Test can be done through mobile, laptop and desktop. The students are advised to give the mock test only on the Desktop because the CTET Exam will be held on completely online and could be on the desktop/computer. The candidates can access the mock test link from the official website of CTET(https://ctet.nic.in). The purpose of providing the mock test link is to give students comfortability on the computer. This is the first time CBSE has decided to conduct CTET Exam in Computer Based Test (CBT). Meanwhile, CBSE has also opened up 356 mock test practice centers all over India. Students can directly go to these practice centers and can participate in the mock test. This mock test will help students to feel comfortable with computers.

How to Practice the CTET Exam 2021

  2. Click on the Mock Test button
  3. On the other side, a new login page will be opened
  4. Click on the Sign In button without filling any data
  5.  The new popup will be there with the detailed instructions of the ctet exam mock test.
  6. After reading these instructions carefully click on the Next button.
  7. Choose the default language, check the box and again click on I am ready to begin button
  8. Now start the practice test accordingly. After attempting all the questions click on Submit button to see the Mock Test Results.

CTET Result Normalization Method 2022
